List of Saturday Night Live commercial parodies
The following is a partial list of Saturday Night Live commercial parodies. On Saturday Night Live (SNL), a parody advertisement is commonly shown after the host's opening monologue. Fast food, beer, feminine hygiene products, toys, and automobiles have been frequent targets.
The commercial parodies have even targeted the SNL producers. A self-parody commercial featured "The Best of the First 20 Minutes", a parody of Broadway Video's series of SNL compilation videos. It offered a compilation of bits from the Cameron Diaz/Smashing Pumpkins September 1998 episode before that episode had even finished.
In early 1999, Will Ferrell hosted a clip show featuring many commercials.[citation needed] In late 2005 and in March 2009 the special was updated, featuring commercials created since the airing of the original special.

How to Take an Ice Bath
Instructions
Difficulty: Moderately ChallengingThings You’ll Need:
- Bathtub
- Two or more trays of ice cubes
- Towel
- Hat (optional)
Immediately after a hard run, race, or long run, fill the bathtub with cold water.
Step2
Add two or more trays of ice cubes so that the water reaches 54 to 60 degrees.
Step3
Eat a post-run snack and make coffee or tea (the snack is necessary for recovery, the coffee or tea is optional, but will help offset the chilly water to come).
Step4
Put on a hat a sweater, or wrap a towel around your shoulders to keep your upper body warm.
Step5
Soak in icy water for at least 10 minutes.
Step6
Hop out, dry off, eat your full post-run meal.
Step7
Take a warm shower 30 to 60 minutes later (any sooner will negate the benefits of the ice bath).
